A Legacy That Began With Prayer

In 1979, a husband and wife answered a call from God that would change countless lives. He shared how God called him into ministry, and she was moved by a vision of touching the city through outreach. By going to prayer alone at noon, she was quickly joined by others who watched from afar. With hearts full of faith, they started the ministry with just 15 people, but their impact quickly multiplied. In time, the ministry grew into a thriving community of over 100 people, centered around prayer, healing, deliverance, and the Word of God.
A Ministry of Miracles
From the very beginning, God’s power was evident in the ministry. Miracles were witnessed regularly—people were healed, delivered from oppression, and lives were transformed. But the most beloved memories were the salvations: seeing lost people find Christ and watching many be filled with the Holy Ghost with the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues. Lives were not just encouraged, they were completely changed.
Community at the Heart of Ministry
The ministry was never just about church services; it was about the community. Outreach was a major part of the mission—helping the homeless, giving turkeys to families in need, providing financial help to those struggling, and hosting holiday dinners so no one had to be alone. The goal was always to show the love of Christ in real, practical ways.
A Legacy of Preaching and Healing
The founder began preaching at just 12 years old, showing a calling on his life from an early age. His wife came from deep spiritual roots, as her father was a powerful evangelist. After being filled with the Holy Spirit in 1970, her spiritual gifts were stirred, and her healing and deliverance ministry was birthed. Together, they served faithfully, building a ministry rooted in obedience, prayer, and the power of God.
They never did this for recognition or notoriety, but for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Their legacy lives on today through the lives they touched, the people they helped, and the ministry that continues to serve the community.
Chloelle Bond serves as the Lead Servant of Community Christian Faith Ministries, continuing a ministry focused on prayer, outreach, community support, and teaching the Word of God in a practical and understandable way.
At the age of seven, Chloelle knew she was called to both ministry and business. She began serving in church at a young age and became more actively involved in discipleship and ministry work around the age of sixteen. Over the years, she served in children and youth ministries, as well as working with women’s ministries and discipleship groups, helping teach foundational biblical principles and support spiritual growth.
While pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies, she developed a strong passion for teaching and discipleship. During this time, she realized that one of the most effective ways to teach was the same way Jesus taught, by taking complex spiritual and theological principles and making them simple, clear, and applicable to everyday life. Her experience working with children and youth helped her develop the ability to explain biblical concepts in a way that people of all ages could understand and apply.
Professionally, she pursued the business side of her calling, working with startups and consulting, helping organizations grow, improve systems, and operate more effectively. This experience in business, strategy, and operations would later become an important part of how she would help lead and organize ministry work.
In 2024, she felt a clear call to step forward, continue the work of the ministry, and help carry the legacy into the next generation. Today, she focuses on building strong communities through prayer, Bible teaching, outreach initiatives, and events that bring people together in faith, fellowship, and service.
Her mission is to build strong communities, teach the Word of God in a way that people can understand and apply, serve people in practical ways, and live out the command to love your neighbor as yourself.
